Common questions
Fair questions, straight answers
How do payments work?
20% upfront to start your project, and the remaining 80% at handover. The maintenance plan bills monthly ($20–$150 depending on your site) and you can cancel anytime. One-off fixes are quoted upfront and billed when the fix is done.
Why the price ranges?
Because a four-page site with one meeting a week and a nine-page site with three meetings a week aren't the same job. Every "Estimate details" button above shows exactly what moves each price — and on your free call we'll scope your project and give you one exact number, in writing, before anything starts.
What if I don't like the design?
Then it doesn't launch. You see the design early and review it at every stage — we refine it with your feedback, and nothing goes live without your sign-off. It's also why we only take 20% to start: you're never paying in full for something you haven't seen.
How long does a project take?
A new website typically launches in 1–2 weeks; bigger builds like a website with full branding in 2–4 weeks. The biggest factor is how quickly we get your content — photos, service details, and your story.
What do you need from me?
About an hour of your time on calls, plus your business details, photos if you have them, and honest feedback on the design. We handle everything else, including writing the words.
Do I actually own my website?
Yes — completely. At handover you get every file, and the site is yours forever. Your domain is registered in your name too, so nothing about your business is ever held hostage. If we ever part ways, you lose nothing.
Can I make changes after launch?
Yes. We build every site so simple text changes are easy, and we show you how. Prefer not to touch it? That's what the monthly maintenance plan — or a quick one-off fix — is for.
Why are you so much cheaper than big agencies?
Because you're not paying for an office building, account managers, or a sales team — you're paying the two founders who do the actual work.
Are there other costs I should know about?
One small one, paid directly by you so you always own it: your domain name (about $12/year). If your project ever needs paid software beyond that, we'll tell you before it costs a cent.
